Something Very Rare!

Apparently, it is quite rare for people to see a brand new bus arriving on the island, so on this day, Caedmon delivers one.
As this is before the linkspan, there are two people wielding planks of wood for the bus to drive off.
Also, note the crowd of foot passengers on the car deck waiting to disembark.

Caedmon arriving at Portsmouth. The mezzanine has now been fitted. Notice the prow at the Fishbourne end is shorter than the ramp at the Portsmouth end. This was lost in a violent storm.

Now lined up nicely to pass within the narrow confines of the Lymington River. Not easy to do when there is a stiff gale blowing!
